Ben Blakey Joins BBRSDA's Marketing Committee

BBRSDA is pleased to announce the addition of Ben Blakey to our Marketing Committee.

Ben Blakey is the co-founder of Northline Seafoods, a company that operates a floating processor in the Nushagak district of Bristol Bay, Alaska. Ben grew up working in the Bristol Bay commercial salmon fishery both as a processor and a fisherman. Starting in 2015, Northline has taken a unique approach to salmon processing. With a focus on quality and operating efficiencies, Northline utilizes ultra-low-temperatures to freeze sockeye in whole, round form. The majority of Northline Seafoods' markets are domestic sales of sockeye fillets, a value-add process that takes place in the Pacific Northwest after the Bristol Bay salmon season.
