Deadline & Criteria Revised for ARPA Covid Relief - Now Open through 4/30/22
/UPDATED 4/19 Extension and Eligibility Revision to the program- LINK to criteria changes which include an extension of the deadline from 4/15 to 4/30 and expansion of eligibility from having experienced a 50% decrease in net revenue to now being eligible with a 30% decrease in net revenue.
This program is the State of Alaska’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Covid State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CSLFRF) toward a tourism and business relief grant program to be administered by the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development (DCCED).
The current application period is open through 5:00pm April 30, 2022.
Eligibility:
The business must have an AK business license OR it must operate under a permanently held Limited Entry or Interim Entry fishing permit.
Business must have experienced a decrease of at least 30% in gross revenue between 2019 and 2020 due to COVID-19 public health emergency.

Residency:
A sole proprietorship businesses must be owned by Alaskan residents.
For a nonresident fisherman operating as an LLC, the LLC does not have to be registered in Alaska. They must have permanently held a Limited Entry or Interim Entry permit in both 2019 and 2020 and did the majority of their business in Alaska.
