July 9 - Bristol Bay Harvest Charts

The 2021 Bristol Bay sockeye harvest stands at 25.1 million fish through July 9. Driftnet fishermen delivered over 1,300 sockeye per delivery yesterday in the Nushagak, Ugashik, and Naknek-Kvichak districts. The Nushagak District is well above the average harvest, while Naknek-Kvichak and Ugashik are right at the previous 5-year average. Egegik is slightly behind its average harvest.

The charts below illustrate the cumulative harvests through the previous day, compared to the prior five-year average for Bristol Bay as a whole and by fishing district (note: Togiak is excluded because data is often confidential, leading to incomplete time series).
