Grant Funding: NOAA's FY24 Saltonstall-Kennedy Program (due 7/24/23)
/Last week, NOAA Fisheries announced that the 2024 Saltonstall-Kennedy (S-K) Grant competition is now open. The FY24 S-K Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is the first S-K NOFO that has been drafted by the American Fisheries Advisory Committee.
The objective of the S-K Program is to promote U.S. fisheries by assisting the fishing community to address marketing and research needs. The FY24 solicitation seeks applications that fall into one of three priorities:
Promotion and Marketing
Development, Infrastructure, and Capacity Building
Science or Technology that Enhances Sustainable U.S. Fisheries
This year's solicitation consists of two separate submission processes. All interested applicants must submit a 2 page Pre-Proposal to the NOFO posted at www.Grants.gov found here, by July 24, 2023. Applicants interested in submitting a full application after the pre-proposal review process must submit the full application through www.grants.gov.
Be sure to read the NOFO and follow the directions closely. Note that under this one Notice of Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) there are two (2) competition links. Be sure to submit your pre-proposals to the “PRE PROPOSALS FY24 Saltonstall-Kennedy” link within the dates specified in this NOFO. Please be sure to submit your FULL Proposals to the “FULL Proposals FY24 Saltonstall-Kennedy” link prior to the date specified in this NOFO.
