TODAY is the DEADLINE to Request Paper Ballots or Opt Out of Board Election

Today (March 1) is the last day for BBRSDA members to request paper ballots or opt out from participating in the 2022 Board election. BBRSDA members who do not request a paper ballot will be sent an electronic ballot, directed to the number associated with their S03T permit (unless they have already mailed in their Voter Information card providing updated contact information).

If you have not yet mailed in the postcard we sent out, you can still request a paper ballot or opt out by doing any of the following (through the end of today, Alaska Standard Time):

1. Send an email to board@bbrsda.com with your unique voter ID key from the letter and postcard mailed to BBRSDA members in January.

2. Send a text message from the phone number associated with your S03T permit to 907-677-2374 (no voter ID key necessary)

3 Call 907-677-2371 from the number associated with your S03T permit and leave a voice message indicating you would like to request a paper ballot or opt out (no voter ID key necessary)

4. Mail back your Voter Information postcard with your selection (not preferred at this point due to potential for mail delays, which could result in delays in receiving your paper ballot)

BBRSDA members can get an electronic ballot sent to a different mobile phone number than what is associated with your S03T permit or have your ballot also sent to your email address. Those changes can be submitted any time until the day before electronic ballots are sent out (March 20). Simply contact BBRSDA using option 1, 2, or 3 shown above, and clearly communicate what mobile phone number and email address you want your electronic ballot sent to. If you have requested a paper ballot, you will not be eligible to receive an electronic ballot.

BBRSDA will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes to contact information for electronic ballots until voting closes on April 4, but cannot guarantee that such requests will be possible. So, if you want to make changes regarding where your electronic ballot is sent, please take action by March 20.
