ICE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Open for proposals ($100K target budget)
Proposal Deadline: February 19, 2021

BBRSDA is seeking a vessel to take on, shuttle, store, distribute and track deliveries of flake ice and/or slush ice. Taking on ice from a barge either inside Clark’s Point or in Schooner Channel in the Nushagak River and transporting it to the South Line of the Nushagak fishing district throughout the 2021 fishing season. EXPANDING RSW SERVICE CAPACITY
Open for proposals ($25K budget)
Proposal Deadline EXTENDED: March 15, 2021

This program provides funding for the employment and training of RSW technician apprentices. The program is intended to increase the ability of an RSW business or other entity to serve the RSW needs of drift boats over that of 2020. This program is designed to help existing RSW technicians increase their capacity to efficiently serve more boats in the short term and involve and train more technicians in Bristol Bay in the long term. 65% DISCOUNT ON INSULATED ICE BAGS
Program currently available to drift fishermen

BBRSDA offers a discount of 65% off the cost of insulated ice bags to incentivize Bristol Bay fishermen and processors to invest in collapsible insulated ice bags to increase and improve the distribution of ice to the Bristol Bay fishing fleet in 2021. Those participating in the program can choose the appropriate insulated ice bags that meet their needs and choose the vendor from which to purchase them.
