2024 Board Election

The Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association (BBRSDA) has begun its 2024 election process for filling expiring board seats.

BBRSDA is calling for candidate nominations from Bristol Bay driftnet (S03T) permit holders to fill two expiring seats on its board of directors. Candidates will be eligible for any seat that they qualify for.

BBRSDA board members are responsible for overseeing BBRSDA activities; approving budgets, policies, and direction; and providing strategic guidance to the organization to ensure resources are being directed towards the needs of our members.

  • Seat B – Alaska Resident Seat

  • Seat E – Non-Resident Seat

All S03T permit owners (as of 12/31/2023) are eligible to vote in BBRSDA board elections. BBRSDA will again use an electronic voting process this year, but members may opt for a paper ballot and election packet. Regardless of how members vote, each vote will be anonymous and each permit will only be able to cast one ballot. Using a secure electronic voting platform to execute our election will make the process easier for members and reduce costs.
